Tangail: Two individuals lost their lives when a bus collided with their motorcycle in Kalihati, Tangail tonight. The victims, identified as Rakib, 26, and Rizvi, 28, were both residents of the Nagarjailfe area in Tangail town.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sub-Inspector Raij Uddin from Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station reported that the tragic accident took place around 9 pm in the Dholatengur area on the Dhaka-Tangail-Jamuna Bridge highway. The victims were returning home from the Jamuna Bridge area when their motorcycle was struck by a North Bengal-bound bus, resulting in their immediate death at the scene.
The police have confirmed that the bodies will be released to the victims’ families following the completion of necessary legal procedures.
