Dhaka: Mukula Begum, mother of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Staff Reporter Motahar Hossain, passed away this morning at the age of 51. Family members reported that she succumbed to cardiac arrest after being on life support in the intensive care unit for an extended period due to injuries from an accident. She passed away at around 7 am at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mukula Begum is survived by her only son, along with numerous relatives and well-wishers. Her funeral prayer, namaz-e-janaza, is scheduled to take place today at Pasha village in Mohanganj upazila of Netrokona district. Following the prayer, she will be interred at the family graveyard.
BSS Managing Director and Chief Editor Mahbub Morshed expressed sorrow at her passing and offered prayers for the eternal peace of her soul.
