Dhaka: The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has taken a decision to set the yearly maintenance fees of the beneficiary owners’ (BOs) accounts at Tk 150. The decision was made during a meeting held today, as announced in a BSEC press release.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the current annual maintenance fee for each BO account stands at Tk 450. This fee is distributed among various entities, with broker firms receiving Tk 100, the Central Depository Bangladesh Limited receiving Tk 100, BSEC receiving Tk 50, and the government receiving Tk 200.
