BRUR VC Puts Emphasis on Education, Research to Improve Quality

Rangpur: Vice-chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Showkat Ali has stressed the need for prioritizing quality higher education and research to elevate the university’s ranking. “The only goal of students should be to achieve higher education and enrich themselves through research. A research institute with all modern facilities will be launched soon at BRUR to involve students in research activities,” he stated.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Vice-chancellor shared these insights while addressing the audience as the chief guest on the first day of a two-day seminar. The event focused on higher education and research facilities in Australia and was held at the virtual classroom of the university’s Academic Building-2.



The seminar also featured Professor Dr. Md Ileas Pramanik, Director of the Office of the Student Affairs, as the guest of honor. Additionally, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Development Studies at Dhaka University, Dr. Riazul Haque, contributed as the keynote speaker. Students from various departments participated in the seminar organized by BRUR’s Scholarship Support Office.
