British Council Honors 141 Teachers from Partner Schools

Dhaka: The British Council has recognized 141 teachers from its 26 partner schools, acknowledging their contributions to enhancing English medium education in Bangladesh.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event, titled ‘British Council Partner Schools Teachers Recognition Award-2025’, took place at a hotel in the city. The honored teachers had successfully completed the British Council’s annual training program. The group comprised 115 teachers from 18 schools in Dhaka, 19 from Chittagong, and 7 from Sylhet.



In his welcome speech, Maxim Raiman, Exams Director at the British Council Bangladesh, highlighted the gathering of over 100 teachers from across the nation as a testament to their commitment to professional development in education. He expressed gratitude for the support from partner schools.



Talal Mir, Regional Business Development Director for South Asia at the British Council, was the special guest at the function. Additionally, British Council Bangladesh Master Trainer Sana Shahid presented on the annual training program’s success.



The British Council plans to hold two more award distribution events, one in Chittagong on October 28 and another in Sylhet on November 8.
