Divers from Rajshahi Fire Service recovered
the body of a youth from the Jamuna river in the district this morning after
his missing around 19 hours.
The deceased was identified as Jihad, 15, son of Md Jeweel, a resident of
Hossainpur Baganbari area under Sirajganj municipality.
The divers recovered his body around 9:30 am.
Earlier, Jihad went missing in the river near three-Cross bar area on Friday
afternoon while bathing with his friends.
Later, the body was handed over to his family, said Station Officer of
Sirajganj Fire Service.
