Dhaka: Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) is set to organize a groundbreaking workshop titled “Athlete365 Career+” aimed at assisting Bangladeshi athletes in their post-athlete career development. The two-day workshop will take place on September 27-28 at the media centre of the BOA Bhaban and will see participation from nearly forty athletes aged between 20 to 30 from various federations.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the workshop will be conducted by Master Educator Sharon Springer from the USA, who has been nominated by the International Olympic Committee. Sharon Springer, currently serving as the head of the education program at the Badminton World Federation, is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka tomorrow to lead the sessions.
The workshop will feature four sessions on the first day, focusing on “Self Discovery” of athletes. These sessions will cover ‘Strength and Values’, ‘Interest and Skills’, ‘Passion and Impact’, and ‘Purpose and Planning’. On the second day, participants will receive training on effective strategies for crafting resumes, cover letters, and other necessary documents for job applications.
The event will conclude on September 28 with a certificate distribution and closing ceremony, where Syed Shahed Reza, the Secretary General of BOA, will be present as the chief guest.
