Dhaka: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has initiated a meeting with Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus to discuss matters including the upcoming national elections.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting commenced at 12:20 pm at the State Guest House Jamuna, following the arrival of the BNP delegation at 12:00 noon. The delegation is led by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, accompanied by Standing Committee Members Salahuddin Ahmed, Jamiruddin Sirkar, Mirza Abbas, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, and Nazrul Islam Khan.
Prior to the meeting, BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed stated, “This time, the meeting with the chief adviser is a little different. We are basically going to talk directly about the elections.” Additionally, BNP is scheduled to engage in a meeting with the National Consensus Commission at 3 pm tomorrow.
