Narayanganj: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has conducted a workshop with local farmers in Narayanganj to introduce the 31-point state reform charter, conceptualized by the party’s acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, local BNP leaders emphasized key aspects of the reform plan, particularly focusing on the agricultural sector during the event held in the Nunertek area of Baradi union under Sonargaon upazila. The workshop, organized on Monday, aimed to inform and engage the local farming community with the proposed reforms.
The initiative attracted significant attention from local farmers, who expressed optimism that the party’s state reform proposals could enhance their livelihoods and foster broader development in the agricultural sector. The gathering underscored the potential impact of the reforms on the region’s economy and agricultural practices.
Selim Hossain Dipu, joint convener of the Narayanganj district unit of Krishak Dal, presided over the program. The event also featured speeches from BNP’s Narayanganj district unit joint convener Mashukul Islam Rajib, general secretary of Sramik Dal Narayanganj district Mujibur Rahman, and Sonargaon Upazila BNP Member BM Dalim, among others.
