BNP Standing Committee Scheduled for Saturday Night Meeting

Dhaka: The BNP Standing Committee is set to convene on Saturday night to deliberate on the nation’s current political climate and address internal party matters. The meeting will take place at 8:30 PM at the BNP chairman’s political office located in the Gulshan area, with Tarique Rahman presiding over the session.



According to United News of Bangladesh, BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the meeting details on Friday, emphasizing the significance of this gathering as it marks the first assembly of the BNP’s highest policymaking body since the party regained power in the February 12 national election. The committee’s last meeting occurred on January 9.



A member of the BNP Standing Committee, who preferred to remain anonymous, indicated that the agenda will focus on discussing the prevailing political situation in the country, addressing the ongoing energy crisis, and considering several organizational matters that require attention.
