Dhaka: BNP has withdrawn expulsion orders of six leaders from various units who were previously expelled for engaging in anti-organizational activities. The party’s decision was communicated through a press release signed by Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the leaders reinstated are former general secretary of New Market Thana unit under Dhaka South City, Md. Jahangir Hossain Patwari, former president of Basail Upazila BNP in Tangail district, Enamul Karim Atal, former president of Basail Upazila Jubo Dal, Jewel Bhuiyan, former president of Basail Municipality Jubo Dal, Babul Ahmed, and former Vice-Presidents of Sakhipur Upazila BNP in Tangail, Faruk Hossain and Samad Khan. These leaders have been accepted back into the party after their appeals were reviewed.
The reinstatement marks a significant development within the BNP, as it seeks to consolidate its internal structure and address previous disciplinary actions.
