Barishal: A rickshaw rally was organized in Barishal in support of the Dhaner Shish (Sheaf of Paddy) symbol ahead of the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election. The rally, which took place at Bales Park, proceeded through various key routes including Bandar road, Amtola intersection, and C and B road, culminating in front of the City Corporation.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, BNP Central Executive Committee Member Abu Naser Rahmatullah expressed concerns about ongoing conspiracies aimed at disrupting the upcoming election. He emphasized that the public does not favor a referendum prior to the national elections and called for concerted efforts to secure a victory for the Sheaf of Paddy in the forthcoming polls.
The rally also saw participation from BNP's assistant forest and environment affairs secretary, Quazi Rawnakul Islam Tipu, who joined in the demonstration to show support for the party's electoral symbol.
