Manikganj: BNP and its front organizations organized a procession to protest the attack on Inqilab Monch convenor Sharif Osman Hadi. The procession commenced from the BNP District Office and traversed various roads before culminating in a rally at the Shahid Rafique Chattar.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the rally was chaired by BNP Manikganj District Convening Committee Member and Public Prosecutor Advocate AFM Nurtaj Alarm Bahar. Key figures such as District Krishak Dal General Secretary Abdus Salam Badal, District Convening Committee Member Golam Abedin Kaisar, District Jubo Dal Convenor Advocate Jinnah Khan, District Shramik Dal President Abdul Kader, Shwechcha Sebak Dal Convenor Kazi Mostaque Hossain, District Chhatra Dal President Abdul Khaleque, and General Secretary Shirajur Rahman, among others, addressed the gathering.
The speakers condemned the attack on Osman Hadi, describing it as an assault on democracy and freedom of speech. They called on the government to apprehend those responsible and ensure they face justice.
