BNP Highlights Commitment to Religious Education: Dr Zahid

Dinajpur: BNP Standing Committee member Prof. Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain today emphasized the party’s longstanding commitment to religious education during a views-exchange meeting with imams, muezzins, and Qawmi madrasah teachers at Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was organized by the C and F Agents Association of Hili Land Port on behalf of BNP. Dr. Zahid articulated the party’s belief that religious education plays a crucial role in guiding people towards justice, morality, and humanity. He reiterated BNP’s support for all forms of religious learning and encouraged religious scholars and madrasah teachers to assume leadership roles in fostering a moral society.



In his address, Dr. Zahid assured the attendees that the BNP has always supported religious educators and will continue to advocate for their significant contributions to society. The meeting was attended by key BNP figures, including Upazila BNP President Ferdous Rahman, General Secretary Sakhawat Hossain, Joint General Secretary S M Reza Bipul, Acting Municipal BNP President Farid Khan, and General Secretary Nazmul Haque. Over a hundred imams, muezzins, and madrasah teachers were present, reflecting the importance of the dialogue between political leaders and religious educators.
