Dhaka: BNP today expelled Engineer Manjurul Ahsan Munshi, a member of the party’s national executive committee, for his remarks and activities contrary to the party’s policies and ideals. He has been expelled from all positions at every level of the party, including his primary membership of the BNP, said a press release issued by Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the decision to expel Munshi was made following his repeated violation of party discipline. His actions were deemed inconsistent with the principles and values upheld by the BNP, prompting the leadership to take this decisive step.
