Seoul:A two-member delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), led by Standing Committee member Ismail Zabihullah, is set to attend the 13th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) in Seoul, South Korea. The event will take place from November 4 to 7, focusing on the theme 'Rebuilding Trust in a Transforming World.'
According to United News of Bangladesh, BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman appointed the delegation, which also includes BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince.
The assembly is expected to see participation from 96 political parties spanning 37 Asian countries. The BNP holds a permanent membership on the ICAPP Standing Committee, which unites political parties from various regions of Asia.
The 13th ICAPP General Assembly is being co-organized by South Korea's Minjoo (Democratic) Party and People Power Party.
