Dhaka: A high-level delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) led by its Secretary General, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, is set to visit China in late June. The visit comes at the invitation of the Communist Party of China and signals an important engagement between the two political entities.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, BNP Media Cell Member Shyrul Kabir Khan confirmed that the delegation might include some members of the BNP standing committee, vice chairmen, and advisors. This visit marks a significant diplomatic engagement for the BNP as it seeks to strengthen its international ties.
Additionally, BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury is currently visiting London. His visit precedes a meeting between the party's Acting Chairman, Tarique Rahman, and the Chief Adviser, which is scheduled for June 13. This series of international engagements highlights BNP's active diplomatic efforts on the global stage.
