Dhaka: BNP candidate Fakhar Uddin Ahmed emerged victorious in the Mymensingh-11 constituency during the 13th national parliament election.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Fakhar Uddin Ahmed secured 1,11,230 votes, surpassing his nearest rival, independent candidate Mohammad Morshed Alam, who received 66,016 votes. Additionally, in the referendum associated with the election, 1,19,208 people cast 'Yes' votes, while 59,211 others cast 'No' votes.
The election results were officially announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre located at Nirbachan Bhaban, Agargaon, in the capital.
