Bilaichhari: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Dipen Dewan today launched his election campaign in Bilaichhari upazila of the district, seeking support for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dipen Dewan, who serves as the joint secretary of the BNP National Executive Committee for Religious Affairs and is the BNP candidate for Rangamati parliamentary constituency-299, commenced his campaign from Bilaichhari Bazar in the morning. During the campaign, he distributed leaflets and engaged in discussions with local residents across different areas of the upazila.
While addressing voters, Dipen Dewan emphasized that if the BNP is successful in forming the government, development efforts would be evenly distributed to benefit all communities residing in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. He urged people from all segments of society to remain united as the February 12 elections approach.
The campaign event was attended by BNP candidate for the 9th National Parliament election from Rangamati, Mrs. Maitree Chakma, along with District Jubo Dal President Md. Nurunnabi, District Krishak Dal General Secretary Bablu, District Sramik Dal leader Mizanur Rahman Babu, and other leaders and activists from various BNP-affiliated and associate organizations.
