Dhaka: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will clean ponds, canals, and drains across Dhaka tomorrow, replacing the pre-announced rally in the city to mark the party's 47th founding anniversary. The party made this decision to prevent inconvenience to the city's residents.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi informed journalists about the change today. He stated, "To avoid causing any sufferings to Dhaka citizens, BNP has canceled the rally. Instead, BNP's Dhaka city units, both north and south, will carry out cleaning operations to contribute to a healthier environment in the city."
Rizvi further elaborated that party members will volunteer in different areas of the capital starting in the morning. He also extended an invitation to the general public to participate in the initiative, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in maintaining a clean and healthy urban environment.
