BNP Announces New Leadership for Rajshahi City Committee

Rajshahi: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced a new 14-member committee for Rajshahi city. The announcement was made through a press release by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mamun Or Rashid has been appointed as the president, and Mahfuzur Rahman Roton will serve as the general secretary of the newly formed committee. Nazrul Huda has been named as the senior vice-president, while Aslam Sarker, Waliul Haque Rana, Advocate Ali Ashraf Masum, Shafiqul Islam Shafique, Abul Kalam Azad Sweet, Mukter Hossain, and Joynal Abedeen Shiblyh have been designated as vice-presidents.

Bazlul Huda Montu and Rabiul Islam Milu have been assigned the roles of organizing secretary. Additionally, Advocate Ershad Ali Isha and Advocate Mainul Ahsan Panna have been included as executive members of the committee.

BNP sources indicated that the formation of the new committee aims to organize the party more effectively and enhance its operations in preparation for the forthcoming national election. The new leadership is expected to bring dynamism and expedite party activities in the region.

The committee's establishment follows nearly two months after the biannual council of the city BNP.
