BNP Advocates for 31-Point Agenda at Ras Mela in Chitalmari

Dhaka: Upazila BNP today organized a discussion meeting and leaflet distribution programme in Chitalmari upazila of the district to raise public involvement in the implementation of the 31-point agenda announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was organized separately at Dori Umazuri Radhagobinda Temple in Santoshpur Union and Boalia Radhagobinda Temple in Hijla Union on Wednesday. BNP central leader and Bagerhat-1 constituency candidate Advocate Wahiduzzaman Dipu was the chief guest at the event.



He emphasized the importance of communal harmony, stating, “The celebration of Hindus and Muslims festivals in a peaceful manner together is a symbol of our communal harmony. Through the implementation of Tarique Rahman’s 31-point agenda, we want to build a Bangladesh where members of all religions and castes will enjoy equal rights.”



The event was attended by Upazila BNP President Md. Mominul Haque Tulu Biswas, General Secretary Md. Shariful Hasan Apu, Organizing Secretary Advocate Fazlul Haque, leaders of Jubo Dal and Swechchhasebak Dal, and local BNP leaders, among others. Following the meeting, leaflets detailing the 31-point demands announced by Tarique Rahman were distributed, and financial donations were made to the temple.
