Dhaka: Bangladesh Judicial Service Association (BJSA) has demanded exemplary punishment of those who were involved in the harassment of Law Adviser Professor Dr. Asif Nazrul in Geneva, Switzerland. A BJSA press release highlighted the incident, where Dr. Nazrul, serving as the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser, was subjected to rude treatment by some individuals at Geneva Airport. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BJSA condemned the behavior, describing it as not only unethical but also a gross insult to Bangladesh's national dignity, patriotism, and the interim government. The association emphasized that such actions against a state representative on foreign soil are intolerable and should be met with stern consequences. The BJSA has called upon all relevant parties to take effective measures to uphold national dignity and prevent the recurrence of such incidents. They stressed the importance of maintaining the country's honor and protecting its representatives from similar harassm ent in the future.
