Dhaka: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Chairman and Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee President, Professor Dr. Khandaker Ehasanul Kabir, today sought cooperation from all stakeholders to conduct the upcoming Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations in a copy-free and peaceful atmosphere.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Professor Kabir emphasized the importance of collaboration among citizens, including examinees, guardians, teachers, and journalists from both electronic and print media, to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the exams. He announced that the SSC examinations for 2025 are scheduled to commence on April 10 and urged everyone to help create a fair and completely copy-free environment.
In his letter, Professor Kabir highlighted the necessity for examinees to arrive at examination halls at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the exams. He stressed that students should refrain from bringing electronic devices, such as mobile phones, or any form of cheat sheets to the examination centers. Furthermore, he warned against attempts to acquire question papers through social media or other means.
The BISE Chairman also noted that any individuals found involved in activities such as rumor-mongering, question paper leaks, or fraudulent practices will face disciplinary action. These actions will be taken in accordance with the Public Examinations (Offences) Act 1980, the Information Communication and Technology Act 2006, and the SSC and Equivalent Examination Conduct Policy 2025.
