Khulna: Emphasizing the importance of timely birth and death registration, Md Firoz Sarkar, Administrator of Khulna City Corporation (KCC), stated that birth and death certificates are a fundamental right of every citizen.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sarkar made these remarks at a workshop held at the martyred (Shaheed) Altaf auditorium of KCC, which aimed to streamline the birth and death registration activities in the city. Sarkar, who also serves as the Khulna divisional commissioner, highlighted the frequent occurrence of citizens approaching the registration office with minimal time, emphasizing the duty of the office to provide prompt services.
