Dhaka: The Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training (BIPSOT) today renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jahangirnagar University (JU) to strengthen cooperation in education, research, and training.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the renewal signing ceremony took place at 12:30 pm in the council room of the university's administrative building. The event was highlighted in a press release signed by JU's acting Director of Public Relations Office, Mohammad Mahiuddin.
JU Treasurer, Professor Dr. M Abdur Rab, signed the MoU on behalf of Jahangirnagar University, while BIPSOT Deputy Commandant, Brigadier General Mohammad Hafiz Mahmud, represented the institute in the agreement.
The ceremony was attended by JU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Sohel Ahmed, acting Registrar A B M Azizur Rahman, and from BIPSOT, Senior Instructor-1 Colonel Kazi Nadir Hossain, and Lieutenant Colonel Sheikh Md Murad Hossain.
Under the renewed agreement, BIPSOT and JU will work together to organize conferences, seminars, and workshops. They will also exchange research data and enhance collaboration in training and academic activities. The partnership between BIPSOT and JU dates back to their first MoU signed on April 9, 2015.
