Feni: A 20-year-old man lost his life in a road accident on the Daganbhuiyan-Feni regional highway in Daganbhuiyan upazila on Thursday night. The deceased, identified as Mohammad Antar, was the son of Ekramul Haque from Midda Bari under Charkankara union of Noakhali’s Companiganj upazila.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Antar was riding his motorcycle when the accident took place. Due to a fuel shortage in Companiganj, he had left home in the afternoon to collect petrol from Feni. While returning, an unidentified vehicle collided with his motorcycle in the Enayetbhuiyan area around 8:30 pm, resulting in severe injuries.
Local residents immediately rushed Antar to the hospital, but he was declared dead by the on-duty doctor upon arrival.
