Dhaka: Primary and Mass Education Adviser Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Podder today emphasized the need for increased research on the challenges hindering the development of primary education. 'Research would help identify practical solutions to real problems in the sector,' he told a workshop on presentation of research reports organized by the National Academy for Primary Education (NAPE) at the auditorium of the Primary Teacher Training Institute (PTI) in Dhaka.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bidhan highlighted that while significant amounts of money are often spent on research in the country, the findings are rarely applied in practice. He stressed the importance of conducting research focused on real issues and called for increased funding allocations for such research efforts.
