Sheikh Russel KC earned 1-0 goal victory over Swadhinata KS in the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) U-18 Football League here on Monday.
Saiful scored the match-winner for Russel KC in the 15th minute of the match.
In the day’s other match, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad KC defeated Bangladesh Police FC by 2-1.
After a barren first half, Naimul scored both the goals for the freedom fighters team in the 47th and 49th minutes while Forhad netted the lone goal for the Police team in the 61st minute
Meanwhile, the final match of the BFF U-16 Football Tournament between Wari Club and Kawran Bazar Pragoti Sangha will be held on Tuesday (Oct 11) at 2 pm at the Kamalapur Stadium here..
BFF Vice President and convener of the working committee of the BFF Professional League Management Committee M Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan Manik will be the chief guest in the final and will distribute the prizes.
