BFF Congress: BFF chief Salahuddin blames local organisers for not holding district league regularly

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Mohammad Salahudin blamed local football organisers for not holding the district football league on regular basis.

 

He expressed his dissatisfaction over District Football Association (DFA) for not arranging the district league regularly at the BFF Congress’2022 at the Hotel Intercontinental in Dhaka on Saturday.

 

This was the 2nd BFF AGM (Congress) after electing Salahuddin-led present EC on October 3, 2020. The first AGM was held on October 30, 2021.

 

Last one year’s BFF activities, proceeding of last AGM and last year’s audit reports were placed in the AGM and was approved unanimously.

 

BFF chief Salahuddin in a media briefing after the AGM said that the councilors approved BFF annual financial report in a very short time without any controversy and pointed out that the main drawback of his present committee is the failure of arranging district league regularly, except few exceptions.

 

“I am arranging the leagues here as it is my job, but the districts are not holding the league showing different reasons and waiting for our for financial support, we may give them partial support, but we are not in a position to give them full support,” he added.
