Dhaka: The price of furnace oil used for electricity generation has been reduced for the month of August, officials announced. Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has set the new price of furnace oil, confirming that it will be sold at Tk 100.39 per litre.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the revised rate will be implemented starting tonight. Previously, in July, the price of furnace oil was decreased from Tk 113.54 per litre to Tk 109.10 per litre.
