Dhaka: Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) today adjusted Jet A-1 (jet fuel) price upward for domestic and international airlines.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the regulatory commission circular issued today indicated that the price of Jet A-1 fuel was increased by Tk 3.02 per litre to Tk 99.29 from Tk 96.09 for domestic carriers.
For international airlines, the price has been increased by $0.0212 per litre to $0.6545 from $0.6333. The new pricing will come into effect from 12 midnight leading to October 9. BERC stated that considering the Platts Rate from September 5 to October 4 on an average, it adjusted upward the jet fuel price for October 2025.
