A septuagenarian was killed after being
attacked by bees in Madarganj upazila of the district last evening.
The victim was identified as Sirazul Islam Bepari, 75, son of Rasul Bepari at
Singdaha village under Madarganj upazila.
According to the police, Sirazul Islam succumbed to sting injuries when a
swarm of bees attacked him as he was walking near his home on Thursday
afternoon.
After the attack, he was rushed to Madarganj Upazila Health Complex in
critical condition where the on-duty doctor referred him to Mymensingh
Medical College Hospital (MMCH) but he succumbed to his injuries on the way
to the hospital, the sources added.
