Dhaka: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today organised a specialised Gender Sensitivity Training programme aimed at enhancing awareness, responsibility, and professional conduct across both men's and women's cricket, as well as within BCB management.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the initiative was conducted in collaboration with UN Women, as revealed in a BCB press release. The programme was designed to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful cricketing environment. It was attended by members of the National Women's Team and BCB Management and focused on building understanding around gender equality and the prevention of harassment and abuse within sports settings.

The initiative reflects the Board's commitment to fostering an environment where every player and professional feels protected, respected, and valued. The programme encouraged open dialogue, personal reflection, and a deeper appreciation of how gender sensitivity contributes to healthier team culture and organisational integrity.
