Dhaka: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) extends its warm congratulations to Dr Asif Nazrul on becoming the Adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Dr Nazrul has long been recognised as someone with a genuine interest in sports, and the BCB believes that his new responsibilities will allow him to channel that commitment toward meaningful progress across all disciplines.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, BCB President Md Aminul Islam expressed the Board's enthusiasm for working closely with Dr Nazrul. 'We wish him every success. His familiarity with public affairs and his longstanding enthusiasm for sport give us reason to believe he will play a constructive role in strengthening the sector,' he said.
Md Aminul Islam further highlighted that Bangladesh cricket is moving forward with clear objectives, and the hope is that Dr Nazrul will stand beside the Board as they aim for higher standards at every level.
