The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has named the squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier 2026, which is scheduled to take place in Nepal from January 28 to February 1. The Bangladesh team will set off for Kathmandu on January 12.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bangladesh is placed in Group A alongside the USA, Ireland, Namibia, and Papua New Guinea for the tournament. Group B will consist of Nepal, Thailand, Zimbabwe, the Netherlands, and Scotland. The Bangladesh Women's team is slated to face the USA on January 18 as part of the Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier.

The tournament will see 10 teams competing for four qualification spots in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, which will be held in England and Wales in June and July. The squad for Bangladesh includes Nigar Sultana Joty as Captain, with Nahida Akter as Vice Captain, alongside players such as Sobhana Mostary, Farzana Haque, and Sharmin Akter Supta.

Standby players for the squad include Sarmin Sultana, Farjana Easmin, Shorifa Khatun, Fatema Jahan Sonia, and Habiba Islam Pinky.
