Dhaka: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the Bangladesh A Team for the four-day match against South Australia. The match is scheduled to take place in Darwin, Australia from August 28 to 31.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mahidul Islam Ankon has been appointed as the captain of the team for this match, which serves as a preparation platform for the Bangladesh national team’s tour of Australia next year. The Bangladesh A team is currently in Australia participating in the Top End T20 series.
Several players from the T20 team, including Hasan Mahmud, Nayeem Hasan, Mahidul Islam Ankon, and Saif Hasan, have been included in the squad for the four-day match. This selection is seen as an opportunity for these players to gain valuable experience and showcase their skills in the longer format of the game.
