Dhaka: The Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation (BBF) organized a two-day judges refresher course and training workshop held today at the Bangladesh Bodybuilding Gymnasium in the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the workshop focused on modern judging methods in bodybuilding competitions, covering various aspects such as the assessment of competitors, rules and regulations for different categories, posing, and the responsibilities and impartiality of judges. The initiative aimed to enhance the standard of judging in bodybuilding competitions in Bangladesh, aligning with international standards.
The workshop was conducted by BBF General Secretary Dr. Md Qamruzzaman under the direction of Federation President Md Mustafa Kamal, Additional IGP, PBI. It featured international judges Khaled Abdullah, Abdullah Al Khaled, Rajesh Chakraborty, and Mahabur Rahman Bulbul, who shared their expertise and insights with the participants.
A total of ten participants took part in the workshop, which included an examination to assess their practical and theoretical knowledge of judging. The federation expressed its commitment to organizing similar refresher courses, training programs, and workshops for judges in the future to further strengthen the country's bodybuilding judging system.
