Dhaka: Bangladesh Bank (BB) has directed all banks to assist the enumerators involved in the Economic Census-2024 by providing necessary information. This directive was issued through a circular from the central bank.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) is set to carry out the Economic Census from December 10 to 26, 2024, across the nation. The purpose of this census is to deliver a precise depiction of the country’s economic conditions. The data collected during the census will play a vital role in shaping future policy-making and planning efforts.
