Michigan: The Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) Alumni Association, Michigan, USA, has officially commenced its activities with the establishment of a new committee. This initiative has been undertaken by BAU alumni residing in the state of Michigan, marking the beginning of a structured effort to connect and engage the alumni community in the region.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the committee was unanimously announced during an alumni reunion event held at a local restaurant in Michigan. This gathering provided an opportunity for alumni to reconnect and discuss the future direction of the association.
The newly formed committee features Professor Dr. Kamrul Mazumder from the University of Michigan as the president. Engineer Saif Siddiqui (Ananta), who is currently a manager at Stellantis, has been appointed as the general secretary. The leadership aims to foster networking opportunities, professional growth, and collaboration among BAU alumni in Michigan.
