Cox's bazar: The Festival of Youth baseball development training camp commenced at Cox's Bazar District Stadium with considerable enthusiasm this morning. Salim Fakir, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, formally inaugurated the camp as the chief guest, while National Sports Council Executive Director Kazi Nazrul Islam addressed the event as a special guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, on the opening day, fifty promising young players from various areas of Cox's Bazar district participated in the day-long camp. This initiative is organized by the Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association (BBSA) with the overall support of the Cox's Bazar District Sports Organization.
The participating players in the training camp will have the opportunity to represent Cox's Bazar district in the National Baseball Championship 2025, scheduled for the last week of December. This is the 20th District Baseball development camp as part of the ongoing development activities of the BBSA. The training camp will continue until the National Championship in December.
