Khulna: Barishal University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Mamun Or Rashid today paid a courtesy call on Khulna University (KU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Rezaul Karim at his office here this afternoon. During the meeting, the two vice-chancellors exchanged views on the current situation of higher education in the country, improving the quality of education and research, and enhancing mutual cooperation among universities.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, both vice-chancellors emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences in education and research while discussing ways to further strengthen inter-university collaboration. The meeting highlighted the necessity of mutual support to advance educational and research standards across universities.
Prof Dr Rezaul Karim marked the occasion by presenting Prof Dr Mamun Or Rashid with a crest bearing the Khulna University emblem, symbolizing the commitment to ongoing collaboration. Also present at the meeting were Dean of KU's School of Life Sciences Prof Dr Md Golam Hossain, Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Prof Dr Md Mostafizur Rahman, and Professor of the Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology Discipline Prof Dr Md Golam Sarwar.
