Dhaka: All scheduled banks across the country will remain closed on 5 August 2025, marking the observance of the government-declared holiday known as "July Uprising Day."
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the central bank issued a circular through its Department of Off-site Supervision. The directive instructs all scheduled banks to suspend operations on that day in compliance with the holiday announced by the government.
