Tokyo: The Bank of Japan announced on Thursday that it has maintained its main interest rate at 0.5 percent, aligning with the expectations of economists.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BoJ highlighted that Japan's economic growth is projected to moderate. This is attributed to trade and other policies in different jurisdictions, which are expected to result in a slowdown in overseas economies and a decline in domestic corporate profits. Despite these challenges, the BoJ noted that accommodative financial conditions are likely to provide some support to the economy.
