Al Khurais:A Bangladeshi national was killed in a missile or drone attack launched by the Houthis targeting an Aramco facility in the Al Khurais area of Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province on Sunday, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the deceased was identified as Md Sajib Hossain, hailing from the Cumilla district. Additional details regarding the incident have not been disclosed.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed profound shock and sorrow over his death and unequivocally condemned the attack. They extended heartfelt condolences to Sajib Hossain's family.
The Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia has reached out to both the deceased's family and employer to offer necessary assistance. The embassy is working closely with Saudi authorities to complete all formalities and arrange for the repatriation of Sajib Hossain's body to Bangladesh.
