Dazhou: Bangladesh women’s hockey team shrugged off their previous match defeat as they bounced back to register a 3-0 goal victory over Uzbekistan in their second match of the U-18 Asia Cup Hockey held in the Chinese city of Dazhou today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the women’s hockey team had faced a challenging start in the tournament, suffering a massive 11-0 defeat to Japan in their opening match. However, they demonstrated resilience and determination as they overcame Uzbekistan, marking an important win in their campaign.
In parallel, the Bangladesh men’s hockey team continued their impressive form in the U-18 Asia Cup. They secured their second successive victory by defeating Sri Lanka with a commanding 13-0 scoreline. Previously, the men’s team had also achieved a 3-0 victory against Hong Kong China in their opening pool A match held on Thursday.
