Dubai: With an aim to seal the final berth of the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup, Bangladesh youngsters will take on Pakistan in the first semi-final tomorrow (Friday) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bangladesh moved to the semi-final by being the runners-up from Group B while Pakistan secured the top spot in Group A. The Junior Tigers beat Afghanistan, thanks to skipper Azizul Hakim Tamim's century and Nepal in the first two matches before losing to Sri Lanka by seven runs in a keenly contested game. Pakistan, meanwhile, maintained an unbeaten streak by defeating their archrivals India, hosts UAE, and Japan. Their consistent performance secured them the top position in Group A, setting up a thrilling encounter against Bangladesh. In another semi-final clash scheduled for the same day, India, the Group A runners-up, will face Group B champions Sri Lanka in Sharjah. The winners of both semi-finals will meet in the final on Sunday at the Dubai International Crick et Stadium.
