Bangladesh to Face Defending Champions Korea in Asia Cup Hockey

Rajgir: Bangladesh has been grouped with defending champions Korea, Malaysia, and Chinese Taipei in Pool B of the 12th edition of the Men’s Asia Cup Hockey, as the fixture of the Asia Cup was revealed today.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Pool A consists of hosts India, Japan, China, and Kazakhstan. The Asia Cup Hockey is scheduled to be held from August 29 to September 7 in Rajgir, Bihar, India. Bangladesh will commence their tournament campaign by taking on Malaysia in one of the four opening day’s matches on August 29.



Bangladesh secured a last-minute opportunity to participate in the tournament following Pakistan’s withdrawal from the event.
