Dhaka: Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury announced on Wednesday that Bangladesh is looking forward to deeper engagement with US investors and institutions, particularly in the sectors of infrastructure, energy, digital connectivity, logistics, and services. According to United News of Bangladesh, the minister emphasized the country's desire for increased US investment and stronger supply chain cooperation. He highlighted the potential for collaboration between universities, researchers, entrepreneurs, and the diaspora communities residing across various states in the United States. Speaking as the chief guest at the US National Day Reception held at the United Convention Centre in Dhaka, Chowdhury noted the robust diplomatic, trade, and educational exchanges that have strengthened Bangladesh-US relations over the years. He stressed the importance of further deepening this partnership for the benefit of future generations, expressing confidence that the most promising phases of Bangl adesh-United States relations are still to come. The reception was hosted by US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T. Christensen, underscoring the ongoing commitment to fostering strong bilateral ties.
