Bangladesh Secures Victory in Kabaddi Test Series Opener

Dhaka: Bangladesh National Kabaddi team took a 1-0 lead in the five-match Kabaddi Test Series by defeating the visiting Nepal team 53-29 in the first match held at the Paltan ground, adjacent to the national stadium, on Saturday. The home team dominated the first half, leading with a score of 28-11.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the remaining matches of the series are scheduled for February 23, 25, 26, and 28, and will be played at the same venue. The series was officially inaugurated by Youth and Sports Secretary Rezaul Maksud Jahedi, who attended the event as the chief guest, alongside National Sports Council Secretary Aminul Islam, who was present as a special guest.



General Secretary of the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation, SM Newaz Shohag, also attended the opening ceremony, marking the beginning of an exciting series for kabaddi fans.
